Mid-Century Apartment

An apartment on Malabar Hill shaped by a love for mid-century design. Our brief was to create a first home for a young couple moving in together, and what began as a clear direction soon became a journey of discovery. As the project progressed, our client’s appreciation for mid-century classics only grew, allowing the brief to evolve naturally along the way.

Working closely with some of the best carpenters we know, we were able to bring a real sense of craft and warmth into the space. The result is a quiet balance of contemporary design, natural materials, and a few iconic lighting moments that hold it all together.
